From humble beginnings in the early 1920's, Chapman started as a small, private weather-stripping business located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was incorporated as Chapman Waterproofing Company in Boston in 1925 and has since grown to be one of the country's largest contractors in the highly specialized field of waterproofing and restoration. Our expertise and craftsmanship have been developed over many years, and now allow us to perform a wide range of waterproofing and restoration services – both as a subcontractor and as a general contractor.
Chapman is primarily active in commercial, industrial, and institutional construction for municipal and private projects. Our principal service is as a contractor, but we also offer waterproofing and restoration consultation services to architects, engineers, and building owners on new construction and rehabilitation projects.
